Anonymous asked: where do you purchase most of your plugs? bodyartforms doesn't have too much available.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to travel to a lot of different studios, attend the APP Jewelry Expo, and have friends that make jewelry in addition to me making my own.
This is on top of the fact that I’m a body piercing that owns a studio, so I can buy jewelry from anyone I want. I have way too much to choose from, and not enough money to buy it all.

Anonymous asked: what materials are the best to use for jewelry for a fresh stretch?
The best materials to use for fresh stretches will always be implant grade metals (titanium/steel), niobium or glass.
If you are stretching properly, and slowly, and the stretch is minor (no taper necessary, and no change/trauma to the tissue noted) then other materials such as a well polished, high quality stone or high quality polymers can be used.
Avoid stretching with silicone, acrylic, wood, bone or horn jewelry!
