A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. And to act so is immoral.

This is why everyone should start referring to them in less medical terminology! Public health officials get really scared when people talk about piercers (who have little to no formal medical training) doing “implants”, “dermal implants”, or using dermal/biopsy punches and scalpels (which are medical devices only to be used by licensed medical professionals) to install them! While i definitely agree that regulations and more educated professionals are very important, making it illegal for these modifications to be practiced is uncalled for. i have a microdermal and have never had any problems with it, i trust my piercer, and i know he knows what he is doing, i made sure he explained the process to me, and saw ones he had done for other people. i was fully aware of the complications that may occur, and i have had my piercing for about 4 months now, with no problems at all.
It is my body, and if i choose to pierce it in this fashion, then who the fuck is the government to tell me i cant.

Anonymous asked: i've always wanted my philtrum pierced, but i'm afraid my frenulum is too long and there would be little to no space for it! i know i'm an anon without pictures but i just wanted your input on what the placement would be like
Without seeing your anatomy, I have no idea what placement of that piercing would be like for you. You should consider stopping by the most reputable shop in your area and seeing if they’ll consult with you about it!

It should be fine. I would just wash it with a mild soap and water afterward.
